Removing Old Master File Update Data

Use this option to remove old audit records of updates to Micronet master files, e.g. when the audit file is getting too big. This will not affect the operation of your Micronet system.

1. Open the Inquiry on Data screen.

Refer to "File - File Update Inquiries".

2. Select FILE | REMOVE DATA.

Micronet displays the Deleting Records from File Update screen.

3. If you want to remove all data from the audit file before a specific date, enter or select the date. If you want to remove all data from the audit file, leave this field blank.

Micronet displays a message asking you to confirm that you want to remove the file update data.

4. If you are certain you want to remove the data, select Yes.

Micronet removes the selected data from the audit file.
